Approved Continuing Education Programs
Below is a list of approved continuing education programs with sponsor contact information. This is not an endorsement of these programs, but a compilation of the programs submitted and approved through the Comptroller’s Continuing Education Program Approval Process.
This is not an all-inclusive list of property tax professional continuing education opportunities, but does include many of the available programs. The Property Tax Assistance Division (PTAD) has also approved all programs developed and approved by The Appraisal Foundation, International Association of Assessing Officers, and the Appraisal Institute for continuing education credit for the number of continuing education hours assigned by the organizations.
Many continuing education opportunities are offered through the Texas Association of Appraisal Districts (TAAD), Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO), and Tax Assessor-Collectors Association of Texas (TACA). Other vendors may also offer continuing education opportunities. While PTAD strives for accuracy in this list, it is not responsible for program cancellations or other program updates that may not have been timely submitted to PTAD.
