Texas Water Report:
Going Deeper for the Solution

Communities throughout Texas are feeling the heat of drought conditions. Many have limited water use to avoid shortages. The map below shows public water systems that have reported restrictions to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). In the most extreme cases, these water systems could run out of water in 45 days or less.

Information is self-reported to TCEQ by public water systems. For up-to-date information about water restrictions in your community, contact your local public water system. For a current listing of Texas public water systems that have limited water use to avoid shortages, visit www.tceq.texas.gov/drinkingwater/trot/droughtw.html.
