2011 Procurement Connection Seminar and EXPO
The Statewide Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program remains dedicated to bringing vendors and state purchasers together. Minority and women business owners and state purchasers provided very positive feedback on the past Procurement Connection Seminar and EXPO’s format and information presented. We want to ensure that HUB’s have the information to prepare themselves to be Ready, Willing, Able and to do business with state entities and prime contractors.
The 2011 PCSEs will include workshops providing vendors guidance and training on the state government purchasing process. There will also be panels of agency and university purchasing representatives providing information from their agencies’ perspectives. We have dedicated time in the agenda for vendors to network with state purchasers to explore tools and approaches that can help them secure state business.
